All We Do Is WIN Week 5- Discussion Guide

Connect

Main Idea: We live to win our world. We live to hear, “well done.”

Introduction: This week, Pastor Zac finished out the All We Do is WIN series talking about our fourth value: Win Your World. When we love God, love people, and discover our purpose, we will win our world.

Discussion Starter: All four of our FP values are connected. How have you seen loving God, loving people, and/or discovering your purpose lead to winning your world?

Grow

Primary Scripture: 1 Corinthians 9:19-23, Acts 5:1-10, and Matthew 25:14-30

Discussion Questions:

  1. Read 1 Corinthians 9:19-23. Paul was clearly devoted to the mission of winning his world to Jesus. How devoted to winning your world do you think you are right now? How devoted do you want to be?
  2. Read Acts 5:1-10. Pastor Zac talked about the “Principle of the First.” How something starts matters. With that being said, Faith Promise has our new vision and values. How will you live out the values of loving God, loving people, discovering purpose, and winning your world from the very beginning of this move of God?
  3. Read Matthew 25:14-30. Pastor Zac pointed out that “Busyness does not buy a ‘well done,'” and “Effort does not afford you a ‘well done.'” What is an area where you have seen yourself being really busy and putting in a lot of effort, but your heart wasn’t in the right place? How did you re-focus back on Jesus?
  4. At Faith Promise, we exist to win the world by equipping Christ followers to win their world, starting with 1% of the state of Tennessee. What do you think that practically looks like? Who is one person you can share Jesus with and win to Him?

Suggestion: Break into groups of 2 or 3 for this section.

Pray that God would give you a heart to win your world and see people in your life come to faith in Jesus. Pray that God would give you eyes to see opportunities to win your world in your daily life. Pray for anyone in your life who doesn’t have a relationship with Jesus to come to know Him.
