Glorious Ruins-Easter 2014
Dear FPC Family,
As you know, the verse God gave me for our church family during 2014 is Genesis 26:12: “Now Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. And the Lord blessed him.” I stand in amazement at all He has already done for us just in the first three months of the year! I am thrilled to share that at the grand opening of our first International Campus in Cañas, Costa Rica this past weekend, God blessed in a huge way with a standing-room only crowd for worship and 17 souls saved and baptized! We are so grateful! Please continue to pray for His blessings on our church as we make it hard to go to hell from East Tennessee and all around the globe.
This coming weekend, April 5-6, we begin our five-week series titled, Glorious Ruins. Our loving and merciful God is the only One who can take a wrecked and ruined life and turn it into something new and glorious! Will you bring others with you who desperately need to hear these messages of hope? Will you come each week prayed up and expecting God to move and save like never before? I trust that you will, and I pray that because of your faithfulness in inviting the lost God will give us a hundredfold harvest of souls!
In the middle of this series we will be celebrating Easter and the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior like never before! Have you ever wanted to visit the Holy Land – to walk where Jesus walked and see what Jesus saw? Filmed on location in Israel, we will do just that as the stories we read about in the Bible come to life! Real places with real people! You definitely won’t want to miss this moving journey through Jesus’ final hours on Earth. Please continue to pray with me for 10,000 in attendance at all of our locations. Please pick up the invitation cards we have provided and use them to invite all those in your circles of influence. I can hardly wait to see all that God will do as we honor Him by bringing the lost to experience the love and sacrifice of His one and only Son. Whose life will be changed forever because you were obedient to our Lord’s command?
Additional services have been added at all of our campuses for Easter weekend, April 17-20, with times shown below. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to each service. We ask that if possible, you attend a service other than Sunday to make room for our many visitors that God will bring to worship with us.
Pellissippi – Thursday at 7 pm, Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 6 pm, Sunday at 9:45 and 11:30 am
Blount – Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 6 pm, Sunday at 9:45 and 11:30 am
North Knox – Saturday at 6 pm, Sunday at 9:30 and 11:15 am
Anderson – Sunday at 9 and 10:30am
Campbell – Sunday at 9 and 10:30am

During all services, fpKids will celebrate the empty tomb with special music, games and activities. Each child will leave with a gift to reflect on Jesus’ love. I encourage you to take advantage of our awesome Children’s Ministry as your kids learn about the real meaning of Easter on their own level.
Can’t wait to worship with you this weekend!
Love you,
Pastor Chris
