Sept 11th, we begin our Fall alignment series, Plan B. Our weekend messages and community groups will seek to answer the question, “What do you do when God doesn’t show up the way you thought He would?”

Parents, you can make a difference in the direction and quality of your family! Check out these two easy ways to lead your family:
1. For every experience Faith Promise offers for children and students, we provide a resource for you to stay informed and involved in the process.
2. The fpBlog is your source for parenting tips and encouragement written by the Family Ministry staff. Take advantage of these easy ways to partner with Faith Promise in leading your family to follow Christ.
Think again. We all have the capacity to lead. Chuck Carringer, our Pastor of Family Ministries, will teach you to leverage your leadership abilities at home, work, and church. Everyone is welcome at the next Leadership Seminar on Thursday, September 9, from 5:30–6:30 pm in Satellite-1.
The church office will be closed on Monday, September 6, in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 7, at 8:00 am.

Could you give one hour a week to improve the life of a child? KidsHope USA is now accepting applications for mentors at Beaumont Elementary. Could your group “adopt-a-class?” As a group you could help lift teacher morale and provide support, prayer, and occasional supplies to classes at Beaumont Elementary. Using a webcam, you can connect to one of our online small groups to find community and make new friends. Interested in plugging in? Let us know, and we’ll contact you as we form new online groups.
Our goal at Faith Promise is to make this the best hour of your child’s week and the most helpful hour of yours. To minimize distractions for adult guests and maximize your child’s experience, we ask that children under the age of five participate in their age-appropriate classrooms.
If you prefer to keep your child with you during the weekend service, we ask that you worship together in our Family Room. For details, please visit the Information Desk.
The Journey is our two-year faith and building program with the goal of expanding our ministry influence locally to reach the seven surrounding counties and the world for Christ. To date, FPC has given just over one million dollars! We hope you will consider giving to The Journey to help us reach our four million dollar goal for breaking ground on Phase I.
