Primary Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Matthew 24:35, Hebrews 4:12
Discussion Questions:
- What’s your plan to get into God’s Word? How does your group dive into God’s Word? Find a Bible reading plan on the YouVersion Bible App or join Faith Promise as we read the Bible in a year.
- Paul writes in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, that all scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, reproof, correction, and training. What are some scriptures that have been helpful to you as you commit to live like Christ daily? Find one or two verses that you can consistently remember to help you grow closer to God.
- What does the Bible say about discipleship? How are we to follow Jesus? Find one or two verses that can help you disciple those in your group, your family, or your life, helping them grow closer to God.
- A disciple follows the example of their leader. Have you followed Jesus in baptism? Why or why not? Next week there will be a baptism opportunity at all campuses. Talk to your group leader or campus pastor if you are ready to be baptized.

Embrace Others
Suggestion: Consider breaking the group into twos or threes for this part.
What are some struggles you have when reading the Bible? Is it hard to be consistent with your reading? Is it hard to understand what you read? Share where you are and where you want to be in your scripture reading. Hold each other accountable to continue on this adventure of learning more about God through His Word.
Engage the World Around Us

How could you and others you already connect with socially during the week encounter God? If you share common interests with people you hang out with – you could start an Embrace group. If you have a book club or Bible study – you could start an Encounter group. If you serve a local charity or give to a community cause – you could start an Engage group. Or if you meet with other leaders for development – you could start an Expand group.
