When:           June 22-25, 2015

Where:         Fort Bluff Camp, Dayton, TN

Who:             Rising 3rd to 6th grade (completed 2nd thru 5th grade)

Cost:              $249!

Frequently Asked Questions

What will my child do?  There are a ton of fun things to do at summer camp.  We’ve got swimming, a 250’ water slide, putt-putt, the iceberg, the blob, wacky games, wet games, crazy games, late night activities….and more!

How will my child get there?  We will transport kids to and from camp by bus.  We will depart from the Pellissippi Campus Monday morning, June 22nd and return to the Pellissippi Campus the evening of Thursday, June 25th.

Where will my child sleep?  In cabins with kids in your child’s small group and small group leader.  There will be as many as 5 small groups & their leaders bunking in a cabin together.

What will my child eat?  Yummy camp food…like chicken and potatoes, eggs and bacon and of course, snacks!  You can send your camper with additional money to spend at the General Store.

How many leaders are going?  Campers will be in small groups with other kids of their gender and grade with a group leader.  Ratio approx. 10 kids/1 leader.  Other support leaders will be attending as well to help with games, events, etc.

What if my child takes medication? All medications will be distributed by the camp nurse or child’s small group leader.

What if my child can’t swim?  All swim activities include licensed life guards who monitor the safety of the group.  Leaders will be present with kids at all times. If your child is not a proficient swimmer, swim vests are available. We highly recommend packing a personal, clearly labeled swim vest for your child to ensure the best fit.

What if I need a scholarship?  Partial scholarships may be available on a case by case basis.  Each child must be registered first, before a scholarship request can be completed.  Once the registration process is complete, please contact your fpKIDS Campus Director for more information on how to pursue additional assistance.

What will my child learn?  We will use a variety of group & individual activities to creatively teach your child these practical truths to deepen their faith and relationship with God.  As a parent, you will receive a tool that unpacks the daily scripture focus during camp week, how it can apply to your life and how you can apply it to your relationship with your child after camp week.

What We Ask of You:

In order for us to provide safe and loving care for your child, we ask that YOU:

  • Label all belongings such as pacifiers, cups, blankets, toys, etc.
  • Let us know of an special instructions and if your child is potty training or in a diaper/pull up.
  • Let us know if your child has any specialized needs or food allergies.
  • Helps us uphold our Well Child Policy by staying home and watching church online if your child has been sick within the past 24 hours. (This includes fever, vomiting, unclear drainage from eyes or nose, symptoms of ear infections, vomiting, unexplained rashes, diarrhea, any other communicable disease or symptoms of pain)
  • Keep your Security Receipt close by. If you are needed we will page you by displaying the alphanumeric security code along with the child’s first name on the screen in the auditorium. You will also need to present this tag when you pick up your child.

What We Will Do:

In order for us to provide safe and loving care for your child, WE will:

  • Page you from the service if your child cries for an extended period of time or show signs of sickness.
  • Staff our preschool environments with volunteers who have cleared our background check process and have been trained according to fpKIDS policies and procedures.
  • Create a FUN, developmentally appropriate environment for your preschooler.
  • Teach your child about Jesus on his/her level in by focusing on 3 Basic Truths:
    • God Made You
    • God Loves You
    • Jesus Wants to Be Your Friend Forever

fpKids Summer Camp

Temporarily changing their scenery sets the stage for a lasting change in their heart.

As a parent, I’m often looking for meaningful experiences for my kids.  Experiences that equip them and challenge them to see beyond the daily clutter of life and encounter an everlasting Father that loves them beyond what they can imagine.

fpKIDS Summer Camp is that experience.

In June, we’re packing up fpKIDS and heading back to Dayton, TN!  We can’t wait for your child to experience a fun-filled week of summer camp.  Make sure your fpKID doesn’t miss out!  Register today!

How will my child get there?  We will transport kids to camp by bus.  However, our final night of camp is our Family Night (Thursday, June 27th) from 6:30-8:30 pm.  All parents join their campers at camp for a final celebration, cook out and worship service.  All campers will return home with their parents at the close of Family Night.

Where will my child sleep?  In cabins with kids in your child’s small group and small group leader.  There will be as many as 5 small groups & their leaders bunking in a cabin together.

What will my child eat?  Yummy camp food…like chicken and potatoes, eggs and bacon and of course, snacks!  You can send your camper with additional money to spend at the General Store.

What if my Child can’t swim?  All kids will be given a swimming test to assess their ability to swim. Kids identified as weak swimmers will be required to wear swim vests during water activities.  Leaders will be present with kids at all times.

What if I need a Scholarship?  Partial scholarships are available on a case by case basis.  Each child must be registered first, before a scholarship request can be completed.  Once the registration process is complete, please contact the Children’s Ministry offices for a copy of our Scholarship Application.
