About Me

I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. My journey to ministry started a little later in life, receiving Christ at the age of 20 and being baptized on my 21st birthday. I have been married for over 20 years to a wonderful man, David, who loves to do ministry as well. He volunteers in FPKids and is a Director in FP Groups. We have a daughter, Callie, who serves in FP Kids as well and a young son, Ryan.

My family began attending Faith Promise in 2008. I started out in FP Kids as a worship team/dance leader where I served for over 5 years before I switched over to FP Resources. I began to feel a tug on my heart to serve in FP Groups. We began our journey as group leaders, then onto coaching and then to the position of Directors. As staff, volunteers and team leaders poured into me, I began to feel led to do ministry full time.

My main passions are Jesus and people. I love hearing their stories, what has brought them to this point in their lives and where they are heading or where they want to be. I am drawn to Faith Promise Groups because of their passion for connecting people to the community of Christ by small groups. I love how groups are creating an atmosphere of accountability, care and connection. We are meant to do life together.

I love serving in local missions and abroad. I currently serve monthly at East TN Children’s Hospital in the Oncology Clinic doing crafts and activities while they wait for treatments. I always get so much more than I ever receive serving there. I have been on multiple mission trips including Big Creek Kentucky and Honduras. My family also leads the Faith Promise Trip to Monterrey Mexico each year to serve a local orphanage. We love to do missions as a family and show our children what it means to be his hand and feet.
