Real Love Starts Here!

Dear Promisors,

What an amazing H4H weekend! I am so thankful for each and every one of you and your continued sacrifice and commitment to building God’s Kingdom. Over the next month, we will do just that through some unique and exciting opportunities in our new series, Love Starts Here.

This series will challenge and encourage us to take one step closer to being and bringing real love to the real people and problems all around us. Throughout November, we will offer opportunities through Compassion International, Family to Family, and All is Bright, as well as release the first edition of the Faith Promise Mission Magazine, an fpOriginal publication.

We will kick off the series with an opportunity at each campus to sponsor a child through Compassion International. Beginning Friday, November 10th through Monday, November 13th there will be an interactive experience at our Pellissippi and Blount campuses. These experiences are open to the public and give a tour of childrens’ lives in the developing world. Come with your family, your fpGroup, or your friends. I believe God is calling the people of Faith Promise to adopt 1,000 Compassion Children from all over the world. Let’s show real love to these children and adopt every single one of them this weekend across all our campuses.

Promisors can also take part in All is Bright, our annual Christmas shopping event, where we celebrate the holidays and the joy of giving as we help those in need around the Knoxville area. Click here for more information.

The final opportunity is Family to Family, where Promisors can take a bag from their lobby and fill it will easy-prep food items for kids at our partner schools to take home during the two-week winter break. We will provide a list of items attached to the bag and challenge everyone participating to grab an extra bag and invite a neighbor to join them in filling one, as well. For more information, click here.

On Thanksgiving weekend, we will bring Hallerin Hilton Hill for a visit. You may remember him as our pregame host during the SuperBowl of Preaching back in February, but most everyone else will know him as the talk show host of Anything is Possible on Newstalk here in Knoxville. Not only is he a dear friend, but he is also an incredible man of God. So, if you’re not traveling, be here! If you are traveling, bring your whole family to church and watch online. Promisors love a HHH weekend!

Love you and looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
