…Unpacked

Last week the scripture focus for our Preschoolers was the first part of Gideon’s story.  How he trusted God and prepared for a battle he wasn’t sure he could win.  Gideon found himself needing to trust God to do what He says He will do.  And this week, we’ll watch as God comes through on His Promises.  God always does what He says He will do!

Make It Personal and allow you kids to see how you strive to grow.  Read the passage in Judges 7:9-22.  When was the last time you experienced God ‘show up’ at just the right time?  When was the last time He gave you victory as Gideon did?  When was the last time you trusted God the way Gideon trusted God?

Trusting God to do what He says He will do is putting your faith into action.  What are you trusting God for?  As Miracle Weekend approaches in August, we continue to emphasize the areas of our lives where God is challenging us to trust Him more.  Ask Him to reveal that in your own life and He is faithful to do so.

Create a Rhythm by tapping into the power of quality moments together.  At bedtime this weekend, practice the Memory Verse with your Preschooler.  We’ve even included the motions!  A great way to help your Preschooler memorize.

“Trust (hug yourself) the Lord (point one index finger straight up above your head) with all (make big circles with both arms) your heart (put both hands over your heart),‟ Proverbs 3:5 (open your hands like a book).”

Elementary (Kindergarten to 5th Grade)

Persevering through our month long focus on Perseverance, we continue this week in the book of Hebrews.  Paul shifts gears here and focuses the reader on how their actions impact those around them.  In fact, the text directly addresses the need for believers to work together.

This is a GREAT topic to discuss with kids when it comes to
