New Sermon Series & Fall Alignment
Dear FPC Family,
I can’t express to you how thankful and excited I am about what God is doing in all of our ministries at each of our Faith Promise locations. Even during vacation season, attendance records were broken as we welcomed over 200 new families to worship with us. And most importantly, He has blessed us with 479 souls baptized so far this year! God moved in great power through our last series, Open House, and I truly believe hundreds were changed forever and finally set free from the chains of their past. Now as we move into fall, let’s be faithful to keep praying, attending, inviting, serving, and giving, and see what else our Lord will do!
This weekend, September 6-7, we begin our encouraging new sermon series and group alignment, Let Hope In, and I firmly believe that God ordained this series “for such a time as this.” Let Hope In follows up our studies on being delivered from bondage and focuses on the power of healing through hope, and the four choices that have the potential to change our lives forever. The Bible instructs us to repent, confess, forget the mistakes of our past, and not allow those mistakes to cripple our future. Remember, with Christ no one is beyond hope!
During this four-week series we will learn what God’s Word says about identifying the things in our lives that are holding us back, and how to take them to Jesus who is our Great Healer and the true personification of HOPE! We will also have deeper study from these sermons in our six-week Groups Alignment. If you are not currently in a group, I encourage you to find one now so that you can reap the blessings of all God wants to do in and through each of us during this series. For more information on how to find a group, please click here.
Please help us get the word out about this vital series and alignment by sharing this video with your friends and family. You won’t want to miss a single week as we learn how to embrace who God created us to be, making the choice to let hope in!
Looking forward to the weekend!
Love,
Pastor Chris
P.S. For those who are unable to attend, please worship with us on our Internet Campus. Remember, we have added an extra service at 6:00 pm on Saturday evenings!
