We have just concluded one of the most impactful series we have ever done here at FPC. I greatly appreciate all the encouraging comments and emails from so many of you regarding the Without messages and book as you have shared how God has worked and moved in your hearts and minds. This has been a life-transforming month for our church family and a tremendous start to 2016! Please finish up each Homologia, keep working your Personal Growth Plans, and delve into the daily Bible readings as we continue through the year in our Faith Journey, seeking the heart of God together as one body!
I am so excited about our upcoming series, Love Is_________. Redefining True Love, which begins January 30-31. Love is one of the biggest mysteries of life, and yet it’s something we all experience. It’s written and sung about; depicted in plays, operas, and films; and sought after like nothing else in history. There are three types of love in the Bible: romantic love (eros), brotherly love (philos), and God’s divine love (agape). What does it mean to love someone more than you love yourself? What kind of love would make the ultimate sacrifice? Join us beginning this weekend as we study the Scriptures to learn what God says love truly is.
Last weekend during the “Blizzard of 2016” we still had almost 6,500 in total attendance. Thank you so much for your faithfulness and hunger for God’s Word. Please don’t miss this weekend – let’s pray and climb back over the 7,000 mark together!
I love you and count it a great privilege to be your Pastor!
