New Missions Series Begins This Weekend!
Dear FPC Family,
I am so excited about our new three-week sermon series called, 28 Days of Life, which begins on March 15-16. During this time we will discover what the Bible has to say about “living missionally” by loving and serving others, no matter where they are. Is this the perspective that we all have? God doesn’t always want or need us to participate in a mission trip to another country in order to show His love to others. He has equipped us and placed us right where He wants us to share His generous love with those around us. We want to be known as the kind of compassionate and giving church that lost and unchurched people want to be a part of and tell others about!
“Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.” 1 Timothy 6:17-19
Our prayer is that you, your family and your group will begin to see how, “doing good, being rich in good deeds and being generous and ready to share,” is the life that is already right in front of you – a life that can impact the world around you for Jesus every day! During this series and continuing through April 13, we are asking everyone – groups and individuals – to serve someone or somewhere. We have created this webpage, where you can find information about how and where to serve, whether you attend a group or not. We would also like to ask that you share your stories on this page so that we can celebrate together all the miraculous things God does in the lives of our church family and in our communities. If you have further questions please email [email protected].
With the celebration of our Risen Lord only five weeks away, I also ask that you please join me in prayer for our upcoming Easter services. I am begging God to bring 10,000 souls across all of our campuses for our special message and video which features the Holy Land where our Lord and Savior walked, served, and sacrificed His life for each of us. As you reach out to others and represent the heart of Christ during the 28 days, please use this opportunity to invite those you serve to worship with us. Click here for Easter weekend service times at each of our locations. You may also find resources to help you spread the word about our services by clicking here. I believe God will use our acts of service and love to draw thousands to hear the message of Jesus!
Can’t wait to hear your stories and see all that God is going to do!
Love,
Pastor Chris
