Never Give Up – Relentless Determination to Overcome Life’s Challenges by Joyce Meyer
This video study is practical, powerful and straight to the point. Joyce delivers a message of hope, and inspiration through the lives of others who have made it happen despite insurmountable odds. As humans we are striving to be the best that we can be, but we all stumble and have days or weeks of doubt, problems, and setbacks, yet through it all we are reminded of the ever loving power and grace that God has available to each of us. This study reminds us that through Him we are able to “power through” and attain the prize on the other side. This class is 6 weeks, meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in Room 223, and facilitated by Rhonda Lyles.
Starting Points Class – With every journey there is always a Starting Point. Faith Promise wants to be at the Starting Point with you. Starting Point is an accepting, conversational environment where people learn about God’s story and their place in it. Starting Point helps participants explore the Bible and begin to understand key truths of the Christian faith. This class is 10 weeks and meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in Room 217. Facilitated by Carolyn Gwaltney.
Unglued by Lysa TerKeurst – This study will help you to understand and manage the raw emotions that are commonplace in a women’s life. According to Lysa, each time we feel a raw emotion coming to the surface, it’s an opportunity to either fall back into patterns that make us wallow in guilt or choose more wisely and make progress. This class is 6 weeks, meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in Room 215, and facilitated by Cathy Owsley.
Wednesday Morning Classes – 10:00 a.m.
Gideon: Your weakness. God’s strength. by Priscilla Shirer. This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. In what ways do you feel insufficient? Those places create the greatest opportunity to experience the sufficiency of God. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God’s strength. This 7 week class meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m. in Room 217, and will be facilitated by Kristin McLoughlin.
Philippians – As we study Philippians, we discover Paul’s secret: that a life lived for the glory of God will overflow with joy. What a message for our hurting world! Join us on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in Room 223 for this 6 week study led by Phyllis Zuchneid.
