Mother’s Day Celebration & Important News from Pastor Chris

Mother'sDay-LoRes

Hello Faith Promise Church Family,

If you are in town for Mother’s Day weekend, please don’t miss worshiping with us at one of our campuses. We will have an encouraging Word from God for our wonderful moms, child dedications, and a special Baptism Day emphasis. Please bring your lost friends and family, and pray that many are saved and follow through with baptism at all of our services this weekend. So many of our mothers have knocked on the door of heaven, begging God for their children and other family members to come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. What a perfect day it would be to take the next step for Him!

As a special Mother’s Day tribute at each of our locations, all moms who attend will receive a “sweet treat” as they enter the lobby and will have the opportunity to have their photo taken with their children by a professional photographer.

I also have some wonderful news to share with all of you.  After much prayer and consideration, a local church has voted to become a part of our FPC family!

Several years ago LifePoint Church began in Clinton as a Faith Promise church plant, which later expanded to include a campus in LaFollette. God spoke clearly to the membership there and they are ready to become a part of all that God is doing through FPC. One of our 2013 Prayer Goals has been to identify the location for our next local campus. God answered our prayers by not only providing one, but TWO locations for us – an Anderson County Campus and a Campbell County Campus! What a mighty God we serve!

Our church constitution requires that our Core Team Members affirm this acquisition, after which LifePoint would take on our name and come under the full leadership of FPC.  In a previous email sent on May 6, I notified our Core Team of LifePoint’s decision and our upcoming vote.  On May 18 & 19 our Core Team will be casting ballots to accept LifePoint into Faith Promise. Please be in prayer for all involved as we seek God’s will in moving His church forward in reaching the lost and unchurched in East Tennessee.

Exciting days are ahead!  Looking forward to seeing you and all that God will do this weekend!

Love,

Pastor Chris
