Madness Alignment Begins This Weekend

Madness

Dear FPC Family,

Wow! We are still in awe of the tremendous move of God that occurred at all of our locations during our Easter celebration services last week. Our Lord blessed us beyond what we could imagine with 17,235 in total attendance, countless souls saved and rescued, and 261 souls baptized with many more scheduled in the weeks to come. I am so proud of how our entire church family worked together as a team to make this the most impactful Easter in the history of FPC. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for praying, fasting, inviting, bringing, serving, sacrificing, and allowing God to use you to help change the lives of so many for the Kingdom. To God be the Glory, great things HE has done!

Please help us continue sharing the amazing true story portrayed in our in-house film, After the Fall. We have made it easy for you to share with others on social media by clicking here. Remember that this coming weekend, April 2-3, we will be interviewing the real Rick, Bill, and Bob as they give us more insight into how God worked a mighty miracle in their lives during what seemed to be such a hopeless situation. I believe God will continue using their remarkable experience to draw others to Him for years to come!

I am so excited about our new alignment series, Madness, which also begins this coming weekend. This series focuses on our emotions and understanding how to place them under our Lord’s control. Some allow their emotions to control them, making it hard to function. Some ignore them and miss so much of what God has for us to enjoy. Emotions clue us in to what is really going on deep down, like a window to our hearts. What really matters is how we respond to them. Join us during the next five weeks as we learn how to surrender our emotions to the Holy Spirit.

If you are not already a member of a small group, I encourage you to get involved now to get the most out of this series. The weekly group lessons will align with the sermons from the previous weekend to allow for deeper study of the truths God wants to convey to each of us. You will have the opportunity to find out more information and join a group during our Connection Weekend at all of our locations on April 2-3. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with other Christ followers as we fellowship and learn together.

I love you and can’t wait to see what God will do next. The best is yet to come!

See you this weekend!

Pastor Chris
