Fall Gathering
fp Women’s Fall Gathering will be held on Sunday, October 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the Pellissippi Worship Center. Dinner and child care will be provided. You are encouraged to bring your spouse or boyfriend or come alone to hear this beautiful story.
Greg & Nancy Brooks will share their incredible story during this event. They have been members of Faith Promise Church for 6 years and both currently serve in the Student Ministry. Greg leads a small group of senior boys and Nancy leads an eighth grade girls group. Greg also serves in the Worship Ministry where he plays drums and guitar. Their passion to serve in ministry came about after a victorious battle for their marriage and family. The battle began in August 2005 when Nancy woke up to another typical day as a stay-at-home mom. That afternoon she found out that her life and 18-year marriage were all but typical. What followed was a journey of great hurt, pain, and loss which ultimately led to God’s healing restoration of their marriage. They found that the key that opened the door for this miracle was forgiveness.
