Join fpWomen’s Groups for Their Upcoming Fall Semester Bible Studies
Join fpWomen’s Groups for their upcoming fall semester bible studies beginning Wednesday mornings from 10AM-12PM on September 23rd and Thursday evenings from 6:30PM-8:30PM beginning September 24th at the Pellissippi Campus.
Wednesday Morning Studies:
Seamless By: Angie Smith – Led by Megan Mullins – Room 215
In seven sessions, Seamless covers the people, places, and promises of the Bible, tying them together into the greater story of Scripture. Participants will gain an overarching understanding of the fundamental layout and meaning of God’s Word. Each week of study features key information that ties all of scripture together into the seamless truth of the gospel message and is accompanied by maps, general Bible facts, and word studies.
Deeper Still By: Edna Ellison – Led by Brittney Gulmire – Room 233
Deeper Still is a six-week interactive Bible study for believers who seek to be a “deeper still Christian.” The author explores biblical principles and models for recognizing the path to maturity and moving toward a closer walk with God. Believers who desire to grow in the areas of wisdom and holiness—to live each day in the becoming, as well as the doing of the Christian life—will be challenged to go beyond the basics of Christianity to explore the biblical evidence of spiritual maturity in the Christian life.
Armor of God By: Priscilla Shirer – Led by Alyssa Patton – Room 209
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny.
But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you.
To Live is Christ By: Beth Moore – Led by Kristin McLoughlin – Room 217
Participants will get to know the “Apostle to the Gentiles” in a new way and discover him to be a man who formed many close friendships with both men and women. He served faithfully and loved heartily. This study will challenge and encourage you with a new appreciation of servant-hood.
Why I Believe – Finding Answers to Life’s Most Difficult Questions By: Chip Ingram – Led By Phyllis Zuchneid – Room 223
What happens to you when you die? Do you move on to another life? Are you just dead? How can you be sure? Chip investigates life after death. This is a compelling, very encouraging look at what comes next.
Thursday Evening Studies:
Breath By: Beth Moore – Led by Jennifer Dickson – Theater 1
This six-week study, centered on DVD-based teaching from Beth Moore, Breath examines the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Its title is drawn from the words of John 20:22, which records that Jesus “breathed on them and said, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit.'”
Unglued By: Lysa TerKeurst – Led by Heather Allred – Room 217
Based on the book by the same name, the Unglued Bible study by Lysa TerKeurst aims to help women make their emotions work for them instead of against them. She does this by helping them understand how to resolve conflict and find peace in their most important relationships, identify what type of reactor they are, how to respond without regrets, and how to gain a sense of calm in circumstances out of your control.
Gospel Revolution By JD Greear- Led by Sue Skytta – Room 215
Gospel Revolution is an 8-session discipleship experience that leads group members to understand how to let the gospel work in their hearts the way religion never has or could.
