Heart for the Harvest Praise & New Sermon Series

Dear FPC Family,

PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME! My heart is overflowing with joy and thankfulness as I look back at all our Mighty God did during our Heart for the Harvest weekend! This truly was the greatest weekend in the history of Faith Promise with reports still coming in of miracles and life change at all of our campuses.  Many asked Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, and 41 souls were baptized, with more baptisms scheduled in the weeks to come. We are still working to get the total gifts given toward our two million dollar miracle offering, and I am confident that God will provide.

Thank you so much for your faithfulness in praying, fasting, inviting, and giving to help make this all possible.  As He promised, God used all of us by honoring our bold prayers. I am looking forward to hearing about all the miracles He did and will continue to do for our “circled” prayers. Please email your reports to [email protected]  so that I can celebrate with you.

On November 24-25 we begin our new three-week sermon series, Empty Promises. We all long for more of something in our lives: beauty, love, money, power, success, and the list could go on and on. The world never fulfills its promises and always leaves us wanting more. How do we break free from these empty pursuits and start chasing after the only Promise that will ever satisfy? How do we uncover the hidden idols that are driving us and turn our devotion toward the one true God? Join us during the next three weeks as we hear what the Bible has to say regarding the differences between the world’s promises and the promises of God.

I know that many of you will be traveling this week to visit with loved ones and friends, and I encourage you to pause and thank God for all the many blessings and freedoms He has given us.  And remember you can still worship with us online on Sunday at either 9, 10:20 or 11:45 am, or 9 pm.

I love you all and wish everyone a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!

Pastor Chris
