Greetings from Pastor Chris

Hello FPC Family,

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is almost here! This year has flown by, and God has truly blessed us beyond what we could have ever imagined. We give Him all the praise as He answered our 2015 theme verse prayer that we would “flourish…planted in the house of the Lord!” Thank You, Lord!

Our current Missions series, Love Starts Here, concludes this weekend, December 19-20, and you won’t want to miss this awesome time of worship and sharing communion together as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior next week. I so appreciate all that you and your small groups have done to share the love of Jesus to the community around us during these last few weeks. Only God knows how many lives will be forever changed because of your service and sacrifice.

I am so thrilled to share with you that this weekend at all campuses we will begin distributing our new devotional book that I have written for 2016, Without: 31 Days to Increase Your Faith. I call it, “a faith journal for your faith journey,” and I believe it will be a Holy Spirit inspired, transforming tool which takes us on the greatest spiritual adventure we have ever experienced together as a church family. This book also includes a Personal Growth Plan, and our One-Year Bible Reading Plan so that we can all study the same passages from God’s Word together each day. On January 4 we will also begin a 21-Day church-wide fast, seeking God’s Will for ourselves, our church, and our fellow FPC family members. You will hear more about these exciting things and more in the weeks to come. Be sure to pick up your copy of Without when you come to worship at any campus during the next three weekends.

Michele and I love you and pray that God blesses you and your family in supernatural ways. As 2015 comes to a close, I hope you will take some time to thank God for all He has done for you, to really enjoy time with your families and friends, to rest, and to seek God for His direction for you and yours during the coming year. It will be our best year yet!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Pastor Chris

P.S. Please note that our church offices will be closed from December 24 until January 4.
