Family Alignment Series Begins September 28-29!

Normal-pastor

Hello FPC Family,

Wow! What an overwhelming Presence of our Mighty God we experienced this past weekend! We stood in awe as the Holy Spirit moved in great power, changing lives forever at all of our campuses. Records continue to be broken as we had over 5,300 worshipers and 147 souls follow the Lord in spontaneous believer’s baptism, with many more scheduled in the weeks to come. Thank you so much for praying and inviting your lost friends and family. And THANK YOU, GOD, for blessing FPC by hearing and answering our prayers in such an amazing way!

This coming weekend we will begin the fall alignment called, Normal, with our sermon series and small group studies centered on the family. As we look at families in today’s world we wonder, “Just what is considered to be normal?” Although society’s view is constantly changing, God has never changed His normal. He established the first family, and it is His will for our families not just to survive but to thrive! At Faith Promise we are committed to our families. During the next several weeks we will rediscover God’s standard for the family and learn how He can help us build a firm foundation for a blessed family. You will get the most out of Normal when you are both connected to a group and also attending the weekend services. If you have not yet found a group, I urge you to do so. To learn more, please visit FPC Groups.

As 2013 began, I shared with you what I believe God intended our Bible verse for the year to be:

“You have crowned the year with Your bounty, and Your paths drip with fatness.”  Psalm 65:11

God has been so faithful in fulfilling this Scripture and we give Him all the honor and glory! As we finish out the last quarter of the year we must also be faithful in our prayers for those who so desperately need the Lord, prayers for our attendance, and prayers for our giving. Remember, He is “able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.”

Please don’t miss this vital series and study. You, your family, and your group will never be the same!

See you this weekend!

Love,

Pastor Chris
