Dear FPC Family,

I am so thrilled by all God has been doing during our family series, Normal, both in our weekend services and in our small groups!  Stories are pouring in, sharing the life change and miracles that have occurred in many of our families. I look forward to hearing even more as our group studies continue for the next couple of weeks. Please don’t miss gathering with your group as God continues to open our eyes to His plan for a biblically-based family life.

I am trusting God for even greater miracles as this weekend we begin our annual four-week Heart for the Harvest series. This year the focus will be, Faith Without Borders. Every day we are placed in situations where our faith is tested. We all worry and fret over our financial situations, our relationships, our lost loved ones, our health, and the list could go on and on. But this is not how God intended it to be! He tells us in Matthew 17:20:

“…If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.”

During this time we will be looking for the greatest works and miracles God has ever done at Faith Promise, begging Him for financial needs to be met; for people to be saved, baptized, and healed; and for marriages and relationships to be restored. Don’t miss a single weekend as we learn from God’s Word how to have a deeper, stronger, and more trusting faith – a faith continually led by the Holy Spirit that truly knows no borders!

We conclude this series with our Heart for the Harvest weekend on November 16-17, when we are asking God to provide a miraculous offering of 1.5 million dollars. Please join with me in prayer and fasting for this important time in the life of our church, as we ask Him to pour out financial blessings on our entire FPC family. What will God provide for you, so that you in turn can give back to Him through Faith Promise? On November 16-17 we are asking everyone to bring a special sacrificial gift, over and above regular tithes and offerings, which will be used for campus expansion and missions. Just imagine if 1,500 families gave $1,000 each. We would reach our goal! I can’t wait to see all that He will do!

It is such a joy to be your Pastor, and I believe our best days are still ahead. See you this weekend as we begin this next part of our journey of faith at FPC!

Love,
Pastor Chris

P.S. Also, please remember that the Time Change is just around the corner! Mark your calendars now and be ready to “fall back” as we move our clocks back one hour before bedtime on Saturday night, November 2nd.
