Christmas Production Time!
Merry Christmas, FPC Family!
The Christmas holidays are almost here, and we are so excited about all that is happening at Faith Promise as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus! This coming weekend, December 15-16, we will have our Christmas production during regular service times. We will begin with some favorite seasonal music, including a unique song and dance that you won’t want to miss. (I will give you a hint – it involves my favorite non-biblical Christmas character!) We will continue with awesome worship, a moving video presentation (written in house) about a well-known Christmas story character, and conclude with a special message from the Word. It will be a packed weekend at all of our campuses, so be sure to arrive early!
The following weekend, December 22-23, we will continue our Christmas celebration with worship services to include a special song and video depiction of the Nativity presented by our Children’s Ministry.
Most people are more open to hearing about the Gospel during this time of year, so both of these weekends will be the perfect time to bring your lost friends and family who might not otherwise attend church with you. Please pray and invite those you know who need a touch from Heaven. What a wonderful Christmas gift their salvation would be!
Also, please note that the Church Office will be closed for the holidays from December 24 through January 1 and will reopen at 8 am on January 2.
During this season I pray that all of you enjoy some wonderful days with family and friends and that you take some time out to reflect on 2012. I encourage you to be thinking about God’s plan for you and your family in 2013 as we kick off the new year on January 5-6 with a special message on spiritual and personal growth.
Again, I want to let all of you know how blessed and grateful I am to be your pastor. Michele and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The best really is yet to come!
Love,
Pastor Chris
P.S. Don’t forget about our online services if you are traveling! Pray about who you will bring to church in January 2013.
