At Faith Promise, we believe groups are where faith comes alive. As Pastor Chris says, we gather each week in rows but life change happens in circles. The truth is, you can’t grow spiritually without connecting relationally. That’s why we create environments to help you connect with God and other Christ followers. One of these environments is our short term groups. These groups last 6-8 weeks and are a great first step toward connecting with Christ and others in a convenient and welcoming environment. Our short term groups will begin the week of January 24th.

For more information about what short term groups will be offered at your campus, visit the Next Steps area or you can search for Women’s, Men’s, and Co-Ed Short Term Groups Here.

New Men’s Bible Study – 7 Ways to be Her Hero

bible

Join FP men as they launch a new men’s bible study, 7 Ways to Be Her Hero By: Doug Fields. On Thursday evenings beginning September 24th for 8 weeks at 6:30 PM in Room 233 at the Pellissippi Campus.

A Glimpse into the heart of the leader of this study, Ken Garner.

After 34 years of marriage and being a Christian the whole time, I realized that there was something missing. I came upon this book one day browsing through the Christian Book Store. I found the book to be comical, real and amazingly spot on the things that I was doing as a husband that wasn’t working. After studying and applying the principals of the book it totally changed my marriage. I shared this with a fellow Christian which also changed his marriage. I began to pray and realized that men in general need what the book has to offer. I began to pray and God revealed to me to share with the men of Faith Promise. The book gives insight to men on how to treat there wives and watch them unfold in front of your eyes at the amazing results by doing a few things right. It’s time to quit chasing the wind and chase our wives. No matter where you are in your marriage this study will reveal things so that your life and marriage will change for the better.

Having a pulse is all it really takes to fall in love. Staying in love is another matter; staying in love requires a plan and some learned skills.

“My primary audience for this book is guys (sorry, sneaky ladies),” says author Doug Fields. “I am writing in a way that most men seem to talk and learn.”

In 7 Ways to Be Her Hero, Fields gives, quite candidly, seven very doable actions to transform any marital relationship, guaranteed. It also includes a bonus chapter for guys to listen to with their wives. So if you want to understand some simple ways to invest in your marriage and be your wife’s hero (again), this is the plan!
