Blount Small Group Serves with the United Way RED Program

This past weekend, on one of the hottest days of the year, two small groups of guys from our Blount County Campus, the Balser and Langley groups, tore down a rotting porch and rebuilt a new one for a wonderful woman named, Mrs. Russell. The United Way RED program supplied materials for the build and the guys in small group donated their time and labor. They put up a tent, brought a big fan, and lots of  water to get the job done. Check out the missions Facebook page for more photos from their day of serving. Got a cool serving story to share? We’d love to hear it. Email [email protected].
