Praying For Our Kids

A frightening doctor’s report, difficulty in school, a 16-year olds first solo drive, the news of divorce in our adult kid’s marriage… Are those the type of situations that lead you to immediately to begin praying for your kids? I hope so. I also hope as Christian parents we are also seeking God as is relates to our kids in the more “normal” times in life (as a parent you should be smiling that I used “normal” and “kids” in the same sentence.) Perhaps you are like me and you realize all too often you miss the always present opportunity to intercede for your kids. Consider praying for them in these areas: their relationship and walk with Christ, their desire for God’s Word, their family relationships, future spouse, etc. I am going to stop writing and I invite you to stop reading. Let’s pray for our kids.
