About Me: I was born in Tallahassee, Florida, and was raised in Georgia - mostly around the Atlanta area. My family was a very strong Christian family and all of us were involved in the church from an early age.
I moved to Nashville in 1998 to pursue a degree in Music Business and Recording. I was in a band but transitioned to the production side of things when I moved to Nashville. Originally, I was focused on a future in studio work, but God continually gave me more opportunities in live production. I began working for artists with whom I had played in my performing days and those jobs quickly opened more opportunities deeper into the Christian Music Industry. I spent a few years in audio, a few years in lighting and transitioned back to Audio with the added responsibility of tour managing for bands such as Skillet and Tree63. For the past 7 years I've taken off in the fall to production manage a 15-20 band traveling music festival called SHOUTfest, showcasing many major industry headliners such as Third Day and Newsboys.
I was married in 2002 to my beautiful bride, Shanell. She is originally from the Knoxville area but we met at MTSU in 2000. We travelled together for years until she launched a successful photography business in 2007. My decision to leave the glamour of the road is based around our great desire to start a family. We've been blessed with the opportunity to join the FP family and are looking forward to growing our family internally and externally!
Interesting Fact: Shanell and I took a two-month honeymoon and travelled the entire US and Canada (including Hawaii).
