Welcome to the Children's Ministry of Faith Promise Church. fpKids is uniquely designed for kids birth through 5th grade, where our goal is to grab your child's attention so Jesus can change their heart.
We do this through engaging environments and creative biblical teaching. Using everyday people just like you, we work together to teach kids how to do the greatest thing they can possibly do with their lives... love Jesus with all their heart, mind, and strength. Mark 12:30

We're so glad to have you as our guest at Faith Promise. We want your experience in fpKIDS to be one worth talking about.
The first time you bring your child to fpKIDS simply visit our Family Registration desk in the lobby. Each child will be registered and assigned to a room based upon age/grade.
To save time, you can print out the Family Registration Card (pdf) at home, fill it out, and bring it with you.
When you register your child, we provide you and your child matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. The nametag portion worn by your child bears a code that matches your portion of the tag. During checkout, you will present the tag matching your child's nametag, and they will be released back to you.
We also use this exclusive code to notify you during service should your child need you.
We've prepared a page that deals specifically with this topic. Click here.

We have a more intentional process for our families with specialized needs. It's our desire to provide a church home for your family and we understand the integration process for your child will look different than most. We have a step-by-step process just for you.
This is a great question. One of the scariest steps to exploring a new environment is the idea that your child might not know anyone around them. We understand this concern and work hard to ensure that each new child receives specific attention to help them adjust, feel comfortable and meet new friends.
Our rooms separated based upon age or grade.
Nursery, Crawlers & Walkers
Babies and toddlers need a space where they gain a first impression of who God is. Our nursery provides a nurturing atmosphere where babies feel loved and cared for by experienced leaders. For children who are mobile, our Walker Room is the place to be. Our Walkers engage in simple activities that introduce them to Jesus.
Preschool
We divide our kids into 3 different areas. Two Year Olds, Three Year Olds & PreK (4 years to PreK).
The fpKiDS preschool ministry believes that every young child deserves a strong spiritual foundation. That is why we focus on three basic truths:
Children ages 2-5 encounter Biblical truths as they participate in a variety of hands-on activities. During small group time, leaders interact with small groups of children to introduce Biblical truths in an engaging atmosphere. During Large Group, children will see the Bible come alive through dramas, storytelling, puppetry and worship.
Elementary
In Elementary, we divide kids based upon their current grade. K-3rd graders attend the Theater for large group where they will experience dynamic teaching including drama, fun games, and engaging worship. We focus on three basic truths:
The best leaders on the planet will engage your kids in activities to connect the Bible lesson to their personal lives through hands-on activities and games.
Our 4th and 5th graders have their own area to call home. Club 45 is an innovative environment designed for the preteen. Creative teaching, interactive games, dynamic worship and great leaders all combine to engage your student. Club 45 is a safe environment where we focus on growing three key relationships:
Lost your card? No problem. Simply stop by the Family Registration desk located in the campus lobby. We'll issue you a new one.
Nursery / Crawlers / Walkers
Generally these room transitions are based upon whether or not your baby is proficiently crawling/walking. For example, a toddler will remain in the Crawler room until he/she is walking the majority of the time without assistance.
2 Years to PreK
Once your child turns 2 years old, their room transitions are based upon age. For example, the day your child turns 3 years old he/she will move to the 3 year old room.
Kindergarten to 5th grade
Transitions change in elementary and follow the Knox County School calendar. When the new school year begins for Knox County, then we transition all our elementary students from one grade to the next.
